What the Hell Happened to the Pac 12? NCAA Football Realignment in 2024

When I was growing up, I knew the major teams in each NCAA football conference. The Big 10 and Pac 10 had ten teams each, the SEC had 10 teams, the SWC had 9, the ACC had 8 and the Big 8 had 8. Teams stayed in the same conferences for decades at a time. There was very little annual change. In the past couple of decades, things have changed a lot. Some conference names are even misleading now. Despite having had more than 10 teams for a number of years, the Big 10 never even changed its name! The 2024 season brings even more changes, the biggest being the complete demolition of the Pac 10. Do you know who is playing where in 2024? Let's see how closely you've been paying attention!

She will be representing Canada at the World Bench Competition in Austin, Texas, in May 2024.

A die-hard fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, Dave has experienced his share of sports heartache, having seen them play in seven NFL cities with six losses. His all-time favorite athlete is Don Mattingly, reflecting his deep love for sports that spans many arenas.
